DE PANAMÁ CON AMOR- 2025
De Panama is a tribute to the incredible women of Panama, inspired initially by my paternal grandmother. Though my early memories of her are faint, her spirit lives on through my visits to Panama and my father's poignant stories of his childhood raised by his single mother. This collection honors the strength, resilience, and dedication of these women who juggle the demands of work and family life.
Our designs celebrate the everyday heroism of single mothers, acknowledging their tireless efforts not just to survive, but to thrive while raising their children. We draw inspiration from their work attire, which embodies their hard work and perseverance. By contrasting this with the elegance and vibrancy of the traditional Panamanian pollera, worn during special celebrations, we highlight both their daily struggles and their moments of joy and cultural pride.
Through De Panama, we aim to empower and celebrate these remarkable women by showcasing their daily strength and the rich cultural heritage that they uphold. Our collection is a fusion of practicality and festivity, a tribute to their unwavering commitment and a celebration of their vibrant spirit.
REPROGRAMMING OF THE FRAGMENTED- 2022
My thesis was inspired by my own personal experience with EMDR therapy. EMDR is a method of psychotherapy that has been shown to improve the symptoms of severe agoraphobia and generalized anxiety disorder. By focusing on a specific traumatic memory and using bilateral stimulation, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) allows one to recognize the sensations and emotions that arise in order to reprocess the trauma. Then, to replace the traumatic and bad impacts, positive belief and healing are implanted into the memory.
This collection will serve as a visual depiction of my own growth and recovery. Using the visuals and symbols that come up during EMDR, the idea of memories intertwined, the healing light coursing through one's body, and hues and flashes of faded memories filling one's mind are all expressed in this collection's pieces.

EVOLVINGBODIES - 2022
During covid when schooling and life was majority lived through technology i noticed the impacts sitting at a computer on my body. Constantly hunched over a screen, lower back pain eyes dried up and bloodshot. While researching what i can do to help myself improve my posture and support my eyesight I came across the article speaking on how humans could evolve to adjust to this new way of life for better or for worse. I wanted to design a collection based off our future bodies, and a way to support/ rectify these changes. Researching solutions we have today like posture correctors and braces, these being a main inspiration for this collection. Incorporating these supports and correcters into clothing in an interesting way was the main goal
